A leading European-owned commodities trading company with a global presence and specializing in a comprehensive range of precious metals products is seeking an Assistant Night Bullion Trader / Dealer to complement its newly established trading team in Singapore.

Assistant Night Bullion Trader / Dealer

Responsibilities

• Metals pricing to clients and managing market risk.
• Managing client and in-house metals orders.
• Managing and monitoring client exposures.
• Interacting with clients and trading counterparts.
• Assisting the dealers in general duties.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification – Diploma in Banking/Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident only.
• 2-3 years experience in a trading environment (familiarity with exchanges is an advantage).
• Aptitude for numbers.
• Able to communicate well in English and Mandarin (knowledge of dialects is an advantage).
• Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, Lotus)
• Able to work under pressure and minimum supervision.
• Prepared to work permanent night shift and during public holidays.
