ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER Times bookstores

Times bookstores, the retail arm of Times Publishing Limited, with a chain of outlets throughout Malaysia, Macau and Singapore, offers a wide variety of book and magazine titles catering to readers of all ages with different favourite genres including but not limited to children’s, lifestyle, fiction, non-fiction, and business/management. It also offers complementary non-book products such as general and executive gifts, stationery, fine writing instruments, reading accessories, greeting cards and DVDs.

Times bookstores also host a variety of exciting and vibrant activities, including author appearances, book signings and workshops for customers.

In travel retailing, Times bookstores operates the largest book chain at Singapore Changi International Airport under Times Newslink. Times is constantly focused on improving its services and the reading experience of customers.

ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER

Requirements:

Degree in Marketing or Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or Mass Communications
Min. 3 years of working experience specifically in Marketing, preferably in retail industry.
Experience in developing marketing strategies, focusing on creating value and enhancing overall performance of the business.
Lead and direct marketing campaigns which include programme implementation, evaluation and budgetary control.
Experience in managing both above and below-the-line programmes such as event management, advertising, promotions, etc.
Good understanding of consumer brand management with past execution experience.
Experience in developing membership programme preferred.
Familiar with production processes in creative works is deal.
Strong drive, fast-paced and result oriented.
Mature, independent and with good initiatives.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Good communication skills and able to ‘deal’ with all ranks and files.
Creative, meticulous and resourceful.
