The Offshore Division of MacGregor Group is a newly established division in MacGregor and consists of two recently acquired companies – Plimsoll in Singapore and Hydramarine in Kristiansand, Norway.

ASSISTANT LOGISTICS OFFICER / SHIPPING OFFICER (CONTRACT)

ASSISTANT LOGISTICS OFFICER

THE PERSON

• ‘O’ level; or proven relevant experience in shipping function
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in warehousing environment
• Computer literate

THE JOB

• Ensure the product is complete according to product specification
• Ensure the product is packed & marked to customer’s according to contractual obligation
• Ensure the product is loaded and/or container is stuffed properly and within safety guideline
• Ensure the Packing List is correct

SHIPPING OFFICER (CONTRACT)

THE PERSON

• Diploma in any discipline, ‘O’/'A’ level or proven relevant experience
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in shipping function
• Knowledge of Incoterms
• Knowledge of LC appliaction & negotiation

THE JOB

• Assist to forecast shipment
• Assist in preparing Packlig List, shipping invoicing, marine insurance, Bill of Loading checking & issurance & LC negotiation
• Major Exporter Scheme (MES) compilation & declaration
