ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manger, the incumbent is responsible for the following functions:

Oversee monthly close and reviewing monthly management report to US headquarters
Preparation of statutory accounts
Oversees vendor payment and staff expense claims
Leading and providing guidance to team of accounting staff
Partnering with Manufacturing Accounting Team on inventory and cost management
Business Partner to Regional Management Team on operating cost management
Review existing workflow/process and recommend improvement plans to improve control and efficiency
Liaising with Bankers, External Auditor, Tax Authority and government bodies
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

A qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of working experience in a related field
Independent and able to lead/ provide guidance to team of accounting staff
Strong analytical and communication skills
Self starter and team player
Knowledge of and experience in ERP system and Hyperion Essbase is a definite advantage
