Raffles Marina is the only marina in the region to be recognized and presented with the 5 Gold Anchor Award – the highest honour given to a marina. It also won the title of “BEST ASIAN MARINA”, 3rd Annual Christofle Asia Boating Award in Bangkok, Thailand in April 2007. The Award is also known as Asia’s most prestigious boat awards.

We are looking for an individual who is well presented, meticulous, highly motivated, good planning skills and resourceful to join us as Assistant Chief Steward.

Assistant Chief Steward

Responsibilities:

• Organize, supervise, train, motivate and control of staff to achieve efficient performance in their job.
• Ensure cleanliness of the 3 kitchens and other stewarding areas and be stationed at peak operation hours in the kitchens to supervise contractor.
• Responsible for inventory for all cutleries, linens, crockery, banquet equipment etc.
• Submit monthly report on breakages and quarterly reports on cutleries & crockery inventory to management.
• Inspect kitchens and dishwashing areas and ensure they are cleaned and well maintained by contractor.
• Ensure efficient stock control procedures, monitoring usage, and handling issues relating to safeguard of Club property.
• Plan and make necessary arrangements for stewarding casual workers with optimum manpower management.

Requirements:

• Minimum ‘N’ Level holder
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Experience in Clubs or Hotels
• Computer literate
• Strong team player
• Pleasant personality
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Ability to work under tight schedules
