ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT Gems Marine Pte Ltd

Gems Marine Pte Ltd (GEMS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koon Holdings Limited, was established in 1982 as a domestic tug and barge operator. Over the years, we have built up a solid reputation as a reliable marine logistics provider, serving a variety of customers including MNCs and local public listed companies.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Stationed in our Pandan Office, the job incumbent reports to Group Finance Manager of Holding Company and assist the manager in the following:

Job Description:

Responsible for full set of accounts, tax and other compliance requirements
Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly accounts
Prepare audit schedules
Review Fixed Assets Register
Endorse GST submissions
Liaise with Operations on yearly / revised budget preparation
Prepare monthly performance variance analysis
Monitor debtors and creditors and ensure sufficiency of funds to meet obligations
Review and endorse cash book and bank reconciliation
Liaise with auditor for interim and year- end audits
Liaise with tax agent for tax compliances
Ad-hoc duties as and when required

Job Requirement:

Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
At least 2 years experience
Fresh degree graduates from established universities are welcome to apply

Work Location: Pandan Road (Clementi / West Coast area)

Working Hours: 5.5 days work week with alternate Saturdays off
