ART MARKETING EXECUTIVE iPreciation Fine Arts Pte Ltd

iPRECIATION is a fine arts gallery that showcases the most exquisite contemporary Asian art that is visually stunning and undeniably unique.

We are seeking a highly organized, extremely motivated and discreet individual to fill the position of ART MARKETING EXECUTIVE to assist with researching, organization and marketing for the company’s gallery exhibitions and overseas art fairs beginning immediately. Minimum 2-3 years of experience including interaction with art world professionals and/or corporate executives; exceptional communications, organizational and multitasking skills essential; some knowledge of Modern & Contemporary art and familiarity with important art world individuals and institutions is required.

ART MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Art History or Museum Studies preferred
Familiarity with English and Chinese
Some working experience in similar field preferred
Demonstrable research skills
Extensive knowledge of MS Office suite of programs, including PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets and mail merge
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team

Responsibilities

Assists curator in compiling data and conducting assigned research in conjunction with exhibitions/ art fairs organized
Develops and maintains strong relationships with media, collectors, donors, artists, dealers, and the scholarly community.
Participates in gallery reinstallation projects
Assists in writing and editing artists’ briefs, correspondence and text for marketing brochures.
Assists in organizing and administering related activities including exhibition, art fairs and client relation events
Assists in the general administration of the department as required
Assists to facilitate artist visits and projects
Lifts and moves works of art with safety supervision
