Parker Drilling Company is a worldwide service company providing drilling and rental tool services to the energy industry both on land and offshore. As a result of growth within the region, an opportunity has arisen for the position of Administrative Officer based in Singapore:
Administrative Officer
Essential Functions:
- Provides secretarial and administrative support to the General Manager.
- Assists with preparation and consolidation of Company’s presentation materials.
- Assists with hotel reservations and travel arrangements.
- Provides office administration support and ensures efficient operations of the local office:
- - Assists in handling incoming calls.
- - Retrieving and sorting of incoming correspondence.
- - Manages and coordinates with suppliers and vendors on requisitions of office supplies.
- - Verifies accuracy of invoices as required.
- Ensures record management system is effectively updated.
- Initiate and recommend workable processes for improvement within purview of responsibilities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree preferred.
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in Office Management.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English language.
- Superior in MS Office applications is a must.
- A team player with high integrity and sense of urgency is required.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management and across cultural and organization boundaries would be a requirement.
- Customer-oriented, good analytical and organization skills will be key for the success of the position.
