A new and exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual in our Singapore office to as an Accounts Payable Executive. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be required to ensure your support is managed smoothly and professionally and provide high level of service to all that you deal with.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE EXECUTIVE

Responsible for processing all account payable activities for Singapore;

• Collect invoices & process payment request
• Perform checks on all invoices before processing
• Issue & data-entry of PO number, Supplier invoices and matching in Accounting System
• Filling of all payment requests & PO invoices, contracts scanning & sighting
• Issue cheque – Supplier payment, miscellaneous expense and manual cheque
• Ensure that all Supplier invoices, Purchase Order and contract are approved according to
• Authorisation Matrix
• Payment Remittance, cheque process, recording of payment journal
• Prepare Bank reconciliation, Employee A/P reconciliation, Petty Cash Journal entries
• Maintain Foreign currency advance, liquidation and employee expenses claim

Key competencies and skills:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels, Diploma and above
• At least 2 years accounting experience, preferably Accounts Payable
• Working knowledge of MS office applications (Word & Excel) is a must
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Strong organisational skills, detail oriented and process driven
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task
• Ability to work productively with others in a rapidly growing organisation
• Ability to function in a cross-cultural environment
