MKS Precious Metals (Singapore) Pte Ltd

A leading European-owned commodities trading company with a global presence and specializing in a comprehensive range of precious metals products is seeking an Accounting Officer to complement its newly established back office team in Singapore. The successful candidate will cover the daily Accounting, Business Control and Transaction Processing operations of the company.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification – Diploma in Accounting (or ACCA equivalent) or Business Studies.
• 3 – 5 years experience in accounting (preferably in a commodity trading company or a bank).
• Knowledge of accounting for a commodity trading business essential
• Familiarity with maintaining a full set of accounting books, payroll, AR/AP, GST an advantage
• Aptitude for numbers and proficient in computing applications such as spreadsheets.
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident only.
• Able to communicate well in English and Mandarin.
• May be required to do shift work and work during public holidays.
• Must be highly motivated, analytical and meticulous.
