Accountant

Report to the Group Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

Manage the full set of accounts and monthly closing to comply with local statutory requirements
Prepare monthly management reporting and analysis
Liaising with auditors on year end audit and filing of annual corporate tax return and GST return
Prepare quarterly forecast and annual budget.
Assist with financial reporting/management system projects
Assist with ad-hoc projects and co-ordinate and support other concerned parties in order to achieve the business’ objectives.

Requirements:

Candidate should preferably possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, CPA, ACCA or Accounting qualifications will be considered.
At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Singaporean, others citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Job role in Financial & Reporting Accounting or Management/Cost Accounting/Business Analyst.
Able to work independently and relate easily with operating management, external and internal auditors
Meticulous, independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight corporate closing deadlines
Positive and hands-on approach with a keen attention to details
Good command of both written and spoken English
Preferably able to converse in Chinese & Cantonese
Good analytical skills, systematic and well organised
Able to start work immediately
