When previously unreleased material from Michael Jackson gets released, how do you think it will sell?

Carolyn1345 We know that Michael Jackson has TONS of unreleased songs that the public has never heard.

What will the interest in this material be? How will it sell?

a:
it wont sell, it will be put on the internet illegally but, for their to be songs the artist and the music company must agree, since michael jackson is dead i dont think the can do that.

and if i was in the family i would not allow them to post it
Mad Hatter:
Wasn't that solely for his children?

What a shame.
Deadhead Incognito:
I'm sure all of the sheep will be lining up to buy the crap.

Go ahead-thumb me down. Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one!

About the Celebrity
Scott H:
you mean like the DVD of his memorial service? Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Joe Jackson are all looking for ways to cash in.
Queen of the WAGs:
Like hot cakes!
Voila it's moi:
I think that it will sell at first just because of his death. However, it depends on the quality of the songs. Afterall, there may be a reason why the others weren't released (with the exception of the new ones). In time the best will keep selling and those which are not Michael Jackson "quality" will go about being unheard of. Though, considering his track record and great talent I'm sure that many people will buy it just because it has his name on the album. RIP Michael
Just me a MJ FAN:
Boy it will sell seeing all the selling his other albums are doing.

I think it will sell like wild fire to be honest. I mean, right now his sales records are soaring. Nobody bought his music for the longest time, and now that he is dead, everything and anything of his are selling. I was just looking at the books he wrote, and I can't get any of it at any library.. and Barnes and Nobles is completely out of it as well. I'm not sure about the interest or how exactly it will sell, but, I know for sure it will definitely sell. Which is good, because it will really help pay off the debt that Michael was trying to pay off, which he was trying to pay off with the help of the tour. I guess that's how it is though - it's sad that it has to be this way, that in order for you to make the greatest comeback of all time in all ways (sales, entertaining, etc) you have to die first. You saw it in Mozart as well as with other amazing individuals whose greatness was not appreciated until after death. Alas, I do believe his unreleased material will make a ton of money.
sandy:
it will sell,
i bet you he will beat another 100 records or something
Jeremy A.:
It will sell some thousands and maybe some millions but I don't think people would be that interested in buying them. Maybe in other countries such as the United Kingdom or Japan where Michael Jackson's recent compliations soared to number one it will sell, but other than that, it wont be a very high seller.
Uwee:
It will sell more than when he was still here
THEPurpleFlutterby!:
They are legitimately selling a last album of his, but the producers or whoever is in charge of that said that they are giving it time because they don't want to jump on the bandwagon. I personally think it will sell extremely well. The whole world is buying MJ stuff cos he's dead now, and everyone who can is trying to make a buck out of it. It isn't that bad, cos at least the sellers can make his fans happy...me being a happy fan who bought a LOT of memorabilia after he died. =]
