Is Genie Francis not the most WONDERFUL actress that has graced Soap Operaland?
Genie Francis (aka Laura Spencer) has once again shown her most excellent ability to come back and take the trophy for high performance acting. Not only does she look GREAT after accomplishing a major weight loss, but she is a classic with her most convincing acting abilities.
How many GH viewers and fans of "Laura" have really enjoyed her presence again? I know, I know, the on-appearance and dis-appearance of the character is frustrating, but each time she comes back, I just love to watch her. ANd this time, it was incredible IMO.
Thanks GH for giving us Genie, one more time.

I have to agree, she is the fairest in all soap land! She looks absolutely beautiful although I believe she always was no matter what size. I just wish GH would pull their heads out of their butts and bring her back for good! I hate the she is here, she is gone but I will take her any way we can get her!

I love Genie as Laura. I have really enjoyed her return and I was especially pleased that Tony Geary was around for sweeps and we got some Luke and Laura scenes. Her scenes are always great, but when Luke and Laura are on together, the chemistry is undeniable, even after all these years. I'm always sad when she leaves but I'll take what I can get. It's always great when she's on. And I'm just glad she comes for visits. =)
And yes, she does look amazing. Although I've always thought she was beautiful. =)

I love Genie Francis! I was so glad that she came back, even for such a short stint.
But this time she was exceptional!! She was the Genie we all know & love, but when it came time for her to walk away from Luke, she was a much stronger Genie.
You go girl! Hope you return soon!

I agree shes not only a good actress but shes Beautiful i almost cried when she departed today hope she can come back [maybe if everyone writes in or comments enough they will give her a longtime contract ide love to see her as having a happy life wouldnt that be wonderful.

I was thrilled to see her too. She will always be Laura. They could never find anyone to replace that role. Did anyone else see Scott Baldwin stowed away on the plane in today's (11-12-08) episode? He pulled the curtain back as Laura was watching out the window. Is Scott a total nut now?

Yes she is! The girl's got poise, grace and a sweetness about her like no other. I'm going to miss her. Her short appearance on GH was too short, but I loved watching her interact w/ Lucky, Lulu & Nikolas, not to mention the funny scenes w/ Scott, Luke & Tracey

She's always beautiful regardless of her size and she's one of the greatest actresses on daytime soaps. Its frustrating to see her come and go; I wish she'd stay longer.

I love the amazing acting abilities of Ms.Genie Francis. She has always showed great range in her acting abilities as Laura Webber, Laura Baldwin, and the best as Laura Spencer. The range of emotion that she has portrayed over the years is outstanding. And anyone who does not LOVE the Luke & Laura story-line has never seen a blending of two actors, who have this amazing television presence.

I agree with everyone, I want her back for good!!! I missed the last part of the show-didn't see Scott on the plane...how do people manage to sneak around undetected like they do????

She looked great this time. A few years ago, she looked so heavy. We all gain weight occasionally, but this time she did look like the same Laura almost 30 years ago. She still looks so young. She is a great actress.
I hated the ending though. I wish that she could stick around awhile longer and fight it out with Tracy. There could be a reallly good story there. But, we all know that she will be back again eventually.
I'm just really happy that she ended up seeing Luke and all her kids. I really thought that she was going to be all in Lulu's imagination. I heard that she was going to leave Luke for Scotty. I did see him on the plane today and I certainly hope that he just decided to go and she had nothing to do with it.
If the writer's end up saying this was all planned for them, it is really gonna tick me off.

She is great! I love how she is fighting with Tracy as well, keep on throwing the fire. I wish they would keep her on General Hospital indefinitely.
