Gas Shortage and Will it Change the Election Results?
The Dept Of Energy now says we have an impending Gasoline and Diesel fuel shortage coming soon.
What will that do to the Election Results. And given that the Congress does the work of of Bills and Laws in the USA and its now Democrat, will a lot of blame go to them instead of Bush a Republican. Congress afterall should be doing more than just sitting around too, Bush shouldnt be getting all the credit either. Given that fact how will the Election go?
DONALD T:
POSSIBLE
heart_and_troll:
Anyone blaming Bush for gas crisis is badly misinformed. To the extent any politicians are to blame, its the Dems and libs who oppose domestic drilling, nuclear power, and the building of new refineries.
the_two:
It can if you let it. But don't. Don't let these politicians sneak one on you. They'll lower prices by 30 cents and then shaft you later with a 30 percent tax increase.
Don't buy into it.
sarah b:
i don't think it will.
TheEmporer'sNewClothes:
Can you imagine people robbing each other in the streets ...for gas.
Sorry, I went out to vote but got robbed of my gas ...and couldn't make it to the polls.
I'll beat em' on that one ...I'm voting by mail.
(wonder who will protect the mail trucks?)
williebonkaz:
Gas will be high as long as theres a war in the middle east.
simplybriannax3:
not a bit. cause in the end pres. cant do that much anyways, we just need a good congress.
margaret h:
Why are you worried about the COMING election?
The LAST one was bad enough.
The price of gasoline has gone up $1.40 since the Democrats took over Congress.
The stock market started sliding the day after the 2006 election when they won.
The current consumer confidence crisis began when the Democratic Congress passed the new Budget Resolution that raises YOUR taxes and increases government spending by $800 billion.
Haven't the Democrats done enough?
Why reward them by re-electing them and electing more of them?
All they need now is a Democrat in the White House to rubber stamp their idiotic destruction of America's economy.
Ask Andy:
Well the uneducated vote is up for grabs. As all educated people know, congress is the backbone for getting laws passed in our society(vetos CAN be overturned). There will be added pressure on them to bring bills that have to do with energy plans to the front of the que.
Really, there is no quick solution to this "problem." As we all know, there is plenty of fuel in ANWAR and off the coast of Florida. And we also all know that environmentalists go ballistic if any word comes up about oil. It really depends on how long Americans will say enough is enough.
