Hi im a british citizen who got a fine 5 years ago in the usa, while this affect me going back?

Hi, 5 years ago i was on a student visa to work in the states for 6 months during this time drunkenly, i recieved a fine for public urination, which i paid. 5 years on i want to go back for a holiday. Would this previous fine stop me from entering the country? I know pretty embarassing! thanks

Probably will not stop you. It is a misdemeanor offense and 5 years ago. You should be fine.

Probably - they wouldn't let a 5 year old kid fly with his parents because some fool with the same name (and 25 years older) was on the terrorist list and some idiot guard would not believe that the Chairperson of QANTAS was a woman - women don't run airlines apparently - so they're quite capable of banning someone who pee'd in public (ahhh - you didn't pee on George did you?)

If you paid the fine, then you are fine.

If you didn't pay the fine, and have a warrant out for your arrest, then you will be shot on sight.

It's a misdemeanor. You should have no problem. It is about the equivalent of a speeding ticket. If that prevented people from travel, then nobody would be able to travel. I don't know anyone who has not received a speeding ticket at some point in their life.
