On NBC 7/39 in San Diego, why has Kimberly King been replaced for the morning broadcasts?
She has been replaced by Jason Austell during the morning hours. Does anybody know why this is? She is moving to the afternoon, is this a promotion/demotion?
can you please try to give me a source/link with your answers? thanks a lot!
ALL-MAN ©:
There was an incident with Kimberly and harrassing phone calls.
infoclerk:
maybe she is making harassing phone calls. you don't get bumped to afternoons because someone has a harassing phone call. this is also what is called "one foot out the door." I have heard numerous tales of Kimberly King - none of which are positive and none that are respectable to the community or her family....
From the Union Trib 06*30*07 -
NBC Channel 7/39 traffic reporter Kimberly King decided she needed help juggling her TV job (which gets her up at 3 a.m.), caring for her two young children and making numerous public appearances, so she signed up for a time management class.
She got off to an inauspicious start, though. She was late for her first session Tuesday. Then, Wednesday morning she slept through her alarm and woke up at 5 a.m. – five minutes before she was supposed to be on the air. NBC colleague Whitney Southwick good-naturedly filled in.
