Is the WWE creative team blowing a goldmine by not addressing the suspensions in a storyline?
Not only is it insulting to the intelligence of the fans, but a drug scandal storyline could provide a dose of reality that could make WWE storylines more interesting.
zack m(NMB):
Dude that would KILL the WWE
DeadSurvivor:
The WWE has dumped many storylines midway through, without any explanation or conclusion to them. It sucks but we fans have short attention spans ... usually lasting from one PPV to the other (in my opinion).
amdrag&edgefan:
The steroid scandals are what's killing the WWE, and you want them to shove it in our faces? That's would be terrible for business. Why would WWE say put the steroid suspensions in the storylines when they should be straying as far away from steroid talk as possible?
I'm all for realism, but that would be stupid on WWE's part.
RAGE:
That would make them look bad in the media, and maybe even to the goverment.
They suspend 10 guys, and then to make money off of it they make it into a storyline. That would not be could PR for WWE to try to make money off this.
They only suspended the guys to look good to the media, and making it into a storyline would make WWE look bad.
