Any General Hospital fans,how are you enjoying Genie Francis being back so far,?

what do you predict will happen?

I actually cried when I saw her on screen yesterday. Heck, I even cried when I saw her on "Access Hollywood" during the week. Supposedly, she's only back for a limited run which leads me to believe at some point she'll remember her stepfather's death and go back into the catatonic state. :(

I am a fan. I'm happy she's back. I find that if they change or take away too many of the original cast, the show loses it's familiar qualities.

It adds spice to many of the mundane story lines and scenes thus far. More than likely she'll have to adjust to her family's new composition, children's ages, and complexities of life during the years that she was comatose.

I actually had the chills when she came on yesterday. I love Luke and Laura. I think it will be like the movie The Awakening with Robert Deniro and the miracle medicine will gradually have no effect and she will slip back. I really hope she extends her stay in Port Charles though.

She left the show because she couldn't get time off. Gerry has a reacurring role and that was what she wanted, coundn't get it so left. Luke is married to Tracy so they have that to work out, and if she leaves or stays, or even a reacurring role, probably depends if the Luke-Laura still has its magic. If everybody willing, they may have a recurring role, as children are grown, Luke and Laura will go off to travel and return to a new story line.
