Election Results FAQ

Everybody's talking about the results of the election, so I'm assuming the counts must be in somewhere. Are they? And where can I go to find results for South Dakota?

It's like duh, let's ask Putin to determine the election results now. They are really causing issues and should be fired for such reporting or worse. Does anyone agree? Of Course Putin wants Obama the Commie for President, so why report on it if you are not trying to throw stones? What the Hell is going on?

We do not have TV, so is there a website which will be accurate to monitor up to the minute results for the election?

I don't have a tv and would like to watch on election night as the results come in. I watched the debates on cspan.org but didn't find anything on their website about election night coverage.

Why election results are often not an accurate measure of the opinion of a majority of the voters? also what does the Electoral college system have to do with it?

When each state votes during a primary election, one or two candidates are elected for a subsequent general election. But how do all the candidates from all the states become "one" national candidate for the general election in Nov?

Or will the election be decided in the courts again? 2old; you would sacrifice democracy for security? How sad.

I have only been able to find results from 2006. Do you mind posting the full link? The secretary of state website I found did not have all of the results for the state senate. Just the 2006 results.
